May 8, 1977. Barton Hall at Cornell University. Some say it's the finest Grateful Dead show ever recorded. Relive the magic as Eric Carlin's Half-Dead brings their highly anticipated "Cornell '77 Revisited" concert series to the Avon Park Theater. ECHD is famous for their keen attention to detail in recreating classic Dead sets from the 70's and 80's. Close your eyes... and you're THERE!
As a special bonus, this event will include an appearance by Peter Conners, author of "Cornell '77: The Music, the Myth, and the Magnificence of the Grateful Dead's Concert at Barton Hall." A proud Rochesterian, Peter also wrote "Growing Up Dead: The Hallucinated Confessions of a Teenage Deadhead." There will be a pre-show Q&A session with the author, so bring your Dead-related questions and hot takes! For more info, go to www.peterconners.net.
This special show is likely to sell out, so don't wait to grab your tickets!
